Steps to Admission for Incoming Freshmen
Admission to Auburn University is the first step for students who plan to pursue a degree in the Harbert College of Business. Admission decisions are made by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and are based on your high school grade point average, your highest composite ACT or SAT score (writing score from at least one test date), and answers to essay questions.
Students who choose to pursue Business upon admittance to the university are admitted to the Harbert College as Pre-Business majors. As students progress through their coursework, they will be eligible to declare one of the many specific majors offered by the Harbert College.
AP, IB CREDITS
Students who have completed Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate courses in high school may be eligible for course credit at Auburn. The Office of the Registrar maintains listings of possible course credit for AP and IB classes.
