Camp War Eagle
Camp War Eagle is Auburn's 2-day orientation program for all incoming freshmen. On the second day of your chosen Camp War Eagle session, you'll attend a group advising session in the Harbert College of Business, plan your fall schedule, and sign up for fall semester classes.
To prepare for your time with us, review the Pre-Business requirements — the set of course requirements that all business students must meet.
Items to Know Before Camp
Dual enrollment/Transfer credit
Incoming freshmen can see how their dual enrollment/transferred course will articulate at Auburn University. Visit http://www.auburn.edu/administration/registrar/transfers.html#coursesByState to access the AU Transfer Equivalency Table.
Federal Veteran’s Affairs benefits
Harbert College of Business students who will be receiving Federal VA benefits (not state benefits) toward the cost of their education should email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to their scheduled Camp War Eagle session to let us know. (Use subject line ‘CWE-Federal VA’.) This will help us prepare your needed VA certification paperwork.
For more information on your Federal VA benefits, visit http://bulletin.auburn.edu/Services/Academic/veteranscenter/
Special Accommodations for Lowder Hall
Camp War Eagle students or their guests who need special accommodations while visiting Lowder Hall for academic advising (day 2 of Camp War Eagle) should email email@example.com prior to their scheduled Camp War Eagle session. (Use subject line ‘CWE-Accommodations’.) This will help us ensure that you have everything you need while visiting our building.
What should I bring?
Incoming freshmen should bring
- Transcripts from other institutions (if applicable)
- Summer course schedule (if applicable)
- Backpack or large bag
- Light sweater or jacket (the buildings can be cold)
- A comfortable pair of shoes (there’s a lot of walking)
- A small umbrella
While it is not recommended that students bring laptops or tablets since items may be left unsupervised, parents and guests may want to bring a device for academic advising scheduled for the 2nd day of camp. This is not a requirement, but some guests may find it useful in case they want to access online information.
