Master of Accountancy
If you want to gain additional technical skills, stronger research and communication skills, and the opportunity to pass the Uniform CPA exam on the first attempt, the Auburn University Master of Accountancy (MAcc) is the program for you. With a MAcc degree, you have higher pass rates on the CPA exam and a better chance at promotion once hired.
Master of Business Administration
With both on-campus and distance options, Auburn’s MBA provides a broad business skill set and the opportunity to choose from 7 specialization options. The available business concentrations are finance, marketing, management, information systems, supply chain, business analytics and human resource management.
An international experience as well as a leadership development trip is part of the curriculum in the full time, on campus program. Students in the on campus program also receive personalized career development and resources through the Office of Professional and Career Development.
Master of Science in Finance
The Master of Science in Finance program provides specialized instruction for students who anticipate a career in finance or plan to pursue further graduate work. The College offers thesis and non-thesis options for this degree. The MS program in finance is a strong choice for students planning a career in finance or additional graduate study in business. The program’s in-depth instruction in the major areas of finance prepares students for professional positions in the field.

Ph.D. in Business, Concentration in Finance
The Ph.D. in Business with a Concentration in Finance was established for students entering in 2014. To have an optimal size class of cohorts, the program will accept candidates only in even numbered years. The concentration in Finance will receive significant funding from a $40 million gift by Mr. Raymond J. Harbert `82, Chairman and CEO of Harbert Management Corporation. The degree prepares students for research and teaching primarily in the areas of Investments, Corporate Finance, and Financial Institutions and Markets.
