Fall 2018

BUSI 7146 - Organizational Leadership, Ethics, and Change (3)
Integrated course covering aspects of individual and group behavior and assessment in organizations, effective team building, and leading organizations through change.

 

BUSI 7236 - Cost Analysis and Systems (3)
Integrates production and cost theory from economics with managerial and cost accounting theory and systems.

Spring 2019

BUSI 7216 - Marketing and Consumer Theory (3)
Combines elements of the economics of demand theory and marketing management. Includes advanced pricing topics and the competitive environment.
 

BUSI 7116 - Financial Analysis (3)
This is a "tools" course with an emphasis on financial techniques, calculations and strategy. As such, the course will involve completion of a number of financial problems along with discussion of current issues facing corporations. The topics will cover a range of issues from financial analysis to capital budgeting and capital structure issues.
 

BUSI 7226 - Information Systems for Competitive Advantage (3)
The structure of business operations and the role that information technology plays in formulating and implementing strategies for competitive advantage.
Summer 2019 BUSI 7256 - Global Business Experience (3)

Provides an intensive examination of the international approach to healthcare management and evaluates government supported and privatized healthcare delivery systems.

 

BUSI 7136 - Strategic Analysis and Competitive Environment (3)
Integrated course covering business strategy and the external environment in a global context.
Fall 2019

FINC 7636 - HealthCare Finance (3)
Techniques and analysis of financial management in a healthcare setting. Emphasis on financial planning and forecasting, budgeting, capital investment analysis in the regulated healthcare marketplace.

 

BUSI 7126 - Quantitative Decision Making (3)
This is an integrated course in statistical methods and management science. Students become skilled in the application of prominent quantitative methods to business problems. Students also become proficient in spreadsheet analysis and adept at explaining their quantitative results clearly.

 

ACCT 6706 - Advanced Business Law (3)
The core purpose of the course is to prepare the student to engage in and understand business transactions, with particular emphasis on how state and federal statutes and regulations are applied to business transactions in the healthcare industry.

Spring 2020

BUSI 7316 - Integrated Business Project & Case Analysis (3)
Development of competitive advantages in the healthcare industry.  Examines product/service innovation and technology development and commercialization strategies, and related issues and processes.

 

BUSI 7976 - Health Care Policy (3)
Through a combination of lectures and interactive discussions, students will have the opportunity to exchange information relative to current and emerging medico-legal aspects of healthcare.

 

BUSI 7156 - Operations Excellence Through Supply Chain and Quality Management (3)
The structure of business operations and the role quality management systems, process improvement, and supply chain management plays in formulating and implementing strategies for competitive advantage.

* The first date of each residency reflects the day of arrival. Classes will start the following morning.

** All residency based classes will start at 8:00 a.m. with the exception of the initial residency. It will open with a banquet at 6:30 p.m.

*** Graduation is currently scheduled for Saturday/Sunday, May 2-3, 2020.
